IJ Start Canon Pixma MG8120 Configuration– The Pixma mg 8120 is a new Canon representative product with a recently revamped multifunction device lineup. Like the previously reviewed MG 5220, the front lead has a sparkling piano black finish with a single silver accent.
However, the MG 5220 is the company’s intelligent Touch System, Back-lit touch-sensitive buttons and Light guide, where the control Panel maintains a very simple operation, only the active button. It’s quite a step above what we saw in the 5220.
Like the MG 5220, the MG 8120 includes a new movie frame printing feature that is built into the easy-photoprint of canon. With the new tool, you can easily find the video frames captured by Canon and automatically improve the images you want to print.
The MG 8120 also features a transparent device for 35mm negatives and a scan strip of slides. For 4×6 printing, you can print instantly with your photos within 20 seconds.
The six-color ink system with individual cartridges for each color contains five dye-based inks containing a dedicated gray ink tank for monochrome photography. The pigment black is used as text.
WiFi mg 8120 can also print IPhone and Android images wirelessly using the free Canon app. Other connected devices include built-in Ethernet, a memory card reader, a high-speed USB port, and a PictBridge port to communicate over Bluetooth using an optional adapter.
And of course Canon’s built-in double-sided printing (excluding borderless pages), automatic document correction and auto-scan mode are provided.
The two-sided printing feature is only one of several ways that the MG 8120 represents the Canon’s Generation Green program. Other ways to turn the 8120 into green are four pages on one side, individual ink tanks (and cartridge recycling), white LEDs that do not require a heat-up time, energy-efficient quick start features, and limited use of Canon’s hardware recycling programs and self-referral program.
